H. Aleesami officially joins Apollon!

Apollon FC announces the finalization of Haitam Aleesami’s transfer to the club.

The 30year old international football player has signed a contract until 2023.

Haitam during his first interview as an Apollon player said:

“I am very happy to have joined Apollon. Despite the many offers I had from teams abroad, I chose Apollon because it is a very professional club, the team is one of the top in Cyprus with many appearances at European level. Apollon FC matches my personal ambitions.

My previous experience in big and demanding leagues will help me to adapt to the requirements of the club and contribute to the team to achieve our goals.

What the fans of the team can expect from me, is that I will always give my everything in the pitch and help the team.

I visited yesterday (Wednesday) the training center in Kolossi and I was impressed by the facilities. I also had a first acquaintance with my new teammates who gave me a warm welcome. In the afternoon I will do my first training session and I can’t wait to start!

During the summer I followed an individual program with my personal trainer but I am still not ready for the first game of the season. I estimate that I will be ready to compete with the resumption of the championship.”

Haitam chosen to play with the number 29.
