I. Coll: I am hungry for even more success!

Apollon Football (Public) Ltd is pleased to announce the extension of its partnership with our team’s footballer Isra Coll until May 2025.

The Argentinian midfielder arrived at Apollon in June 2021 and from the first moment he stole the show.

His presence in our team was a catalyst and it is not just a coincidence that he was the footballer with the most appearances and the most minutes in the 2021-2022 league season.

Isra Coll spoke to www.apollon.com.cy about his new contract until 2025.

Last season ended in the best way by winning the league and the new season starts with a new contract for you. What does this mean to you?

Indeed last season was excellent for the team and we all enjoyed it at the club. After sixteen years we won the championship title, we gave a lot of joy to the world and we want to do it again.

I am very happy to stay in Limassol and continue with the team for another three years. I am hungry for even more success!

The team really achieved something very important last season. Do you think we can do it again?

The championship does not reassure us. We want to win the next league and make history by qualifying for the Champions League groups!

It won’t be easy as everyone will want to beat the champions and show their strength. But I believe that the new stadium will give us more impetus and energy!

Why do you think that;

First of all, the distance of the stands from the pitch. In the new stadium I am sure that the opponents will feel the “breath” of our fans! I can’t wait to see them in a football stadium like the Colosseum.

How easy was the decision to say yes?

Too easy to be honest. I like the city very much, I have integrated perfectly into the team and I feel very good to be in Apollon.
