Welcome to Cyprus and Apollon. What are your first impressions of Limassol and our team?

It’s my first time in Cyprus, and I think it’s a very beautiful place to live. It’s very hot, especially in the last few days. The city is beautiful, and I like it a lot. The club is also very organized, with modern facilities, a gym, new locker rooms, everything is good, so I am happy.

There are several French players on the team. Do you think this will help you adapt faster?

Yes, of course. Sessi was calling me every day and telling me, “come, it’s a very good club.” I watched some videos and saw some photos, and then I decided to come, so I am very happy to be here.

How is Sessi in the locker room? Describe him on and off the field.

He’s a very funny guy. Yes, he’s also a good dancer (laughs). I think the older players see a different Sessi because, at first, he is shy. On the field, he’s a soldier, he runs everywhere, fights for the team, and I think he is a very good player.

Did you have other offers apart from Apollon? And why did you choose our team?

I had some possibilities, but in the end, the best choice for me was to come here, and I don’t regret my decision. The talks and negotiations took a long time. First of all, I spoke with the coach and the sports director, and I felt that they wanted me here. I felt their confidence, so I chose Apollon, and I believe it is the best choice for me.

You mentioned before that you watched some videos. What are your impressions?

Yes, I watched some videos about the fans, and when I came here, everyone told me that the fans here are very passionate and love football and their teams very much. I can’t wait to play my first game in this new stadium. I hope to achieve great things in this stadium.

How would you describe yourself? What are your strengths as a footballer?

I want to show my quality, I want to score goals and provide assists. I think I have good technical skills. So yes, I want to show my game and make the fans happy.

Which positions can you play?

My position is on the wings, but last season I played several games as a left-back.

How do you view the challenge of the Cypriot league?

I don’t know much about the league here; I want to see the quality. Everyone tells me that the league has good quality, so I’m looking forward to playing.
