Match Report | Apollon – Zalgiris Kauno

Our team with a second victory over Kauno Zalgiris qualified in the next phase of the UEFA Europa League.

 

Apollon won 4-0 and with a total score of 6-0 qualified in the 2nd Qualifying round of the tournament.

 

The main protagonist of the match was Emilio Zelaya, who scored a hat-trick by writing his name in “golden” letters in the history book of Apollo as he became the top scorer of our team in European competitions.

 

The Argentine scored 12 goals, surpassing the team’s legend Milenko Spoljaric.
