Seven Apollon players on international duty (September call-ups)

The September international break will see a total of seven Apollon Limassol players representing their countries in official matches.

For the Cyprus Men’s National Team, Giorgos Malekkidis and Andreas Siikkis have been included in the squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Austria (away, 6 September) and Romania (home, GSP Stadium, 9 September, 21:45).

In the Cyprus U21 squad, Konstantinos Stylianou and Nearchos Zinonos have been called up for the opening fixtures of the European U21 Championship Qualifiers. Cyprus faces Spain in Soria on 5 September (21:00) and then hosts Finland at the “Antonis Papadopoulos” Stadium on 9 September (19:00).

The Cyprus U19 National Team will play two friendly matches against Lithuania (6 & 8 September in Cyprus) with Ioannis Polyviou, Panagiotis Charalambous and Christos Charalambous in the squad.
