Apollon Football (Public) Ltd announces the conclusion of its collaboration with the captain of our football team, Hambos Kyriakou.<\/p>\n
The international midfielder is one of the most important products of our Academy and a true leader both on and off the pitch. He made his first-team debut at just 17 years old during the 2011\u20132012 season, and from that day on, he wrote his own remarkable story wearing the badge on his chest.<\/p>\n
Over 13 years at Apollon \u2014 with the exception of the 2017\u20132018 season, when he was loaned to Estoril \u2014 he made 322 appearances in all competitions and scored 8 goals, serving as team captain for much of that journey.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The Cyprus Championship (2021\u20132022)
\n\u2022 Three Cyprus Cup titles (2012\u20132013, 2015\u20132016, 2016\u20132017)

Hambos was one of the club\u2019s most consistent, reliable, and dedicated footballers, inspiring younger players and setting a living example of professionalism and integrity.<\/p>\n
Through his values and qualities, he became an integral part of our club\u2019s successes over the past decade and earned a special place in Apollon\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
The Apollon family sincerely thanks Hambos for his invaluable and multi-faceted contribution throughout the years and wishes him the very best in the next chapter of his football career and personal life.<\/p>\n
