At just 17 years old, Ioannis Polyviou took his first steps into the professional football world, wearing the Apollon first-team shirt. Speaking to the club\u2019s official website, he shared his thoughts, feelings, and goals after making his debut against Aris.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis means so much to me. I\u2019m very grateful for the trust shown to me by the Apollon family. I hope to repay that trust by giving my all on the pitch,\u201d said Ioannis Polyviou, expressing how much signing his first professional contract means to him.<\/p>\n

When asked about his first appearance at professional level with the senior team, he described the experience with great emotion.
\n\u201cIt was an unbelievable experience, a dream come true. I\u2019ll never forget it, especially against such a strong opponent like Aris. That debut moment will stay with me forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also vividly remembers his feelings before stepping onto the pitch:
\n\u201cI can\u2019t describe it. I was so excited, constantly looking towards the bench waiting for the coach to call me. When he did, I rushed to get ready and enter the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for his goals this season, the young midfielder is determined:
\n\u201cMy goal is to establish myself. Being in the army makes it more challenging, but I want to play as much as possible. First to make it into the squad lists and then to earn minutes on the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n
