Hern\u00e1n Losada made a winning start to his tenure at Apollon, as our team secured a 1-0 victory over Freedom24 Krasava ENY at the \u201cAmmochostos \u2013 Epistrofi\u201d Stadium, in the context of Matchday 15 of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.<\/p>\n
From the opening minutes of the match, we controlled possession and patiently looked to break down the hosts\u2019 well-organised defence. We created the most notable chances of the first half through Gaspar, Weissbeck and Brandon Thomas, but were unable to find the back of the net, with the score remaining 0-0 at the break.<\/p>\n
In the second half, we maintained our superiority, limited the opposition and increased our pressure. The decisive moment came in the 85th minute, when an excellent free kick delivery by Garry Rodrigues found Marques, who timed his movement perfectly and finished first time to send the ball into the net, sealing the win.<\/p>\n
We managed the game effectively until the final whistle and celebrated an important away victory, moving up to 24 points in the league standings.<\/p>\n
