Apollon Limassol F.C announces the end of its cooperation with Joao Pedro.<\/p>\n
The Apollon family would like to thank Jo\u00e3o for his precious and long-lasting contribution to our team over the last few years. He made 249 appearances wearing the blue and white jersey, played in every competition, won two Cups of Cyprus, two Super Cups and participated two times in the UEFA Europa League group stage.<\/p>\n
Joao’s contract comes to an end after six years at the club.<\/p>\n
The Portuguese joined Apollon in summer 2015, he initially came on loan from Braga and then joined the club as a free transfer player.<\/p>\n
He wore our shirt 178 times in league games, 27 times in cup games and 42 times in European competitions, making him the second most capped player in European games in the club’s history.<\/p>\n
He was driven and defined by his passion, his ability to create plays from the right wing, his set-pieces and shooting skills. He managed to provide 106 assists and score 11 goals in his 249 appearances.<\/p>\n
He is one of the best foreign players who has ever played for our team.<\/p>\n
