Apollon Football (Public) Ltd Company announces the finalization of the agreement with the Greek football player Dimitris Pinakas, who successfully passed the necessary medical examinations to which he was subjected.<\/p>\n

Welcome to Apollon Dimitris. A new chapter in your career, in another country, in a different league and in a team participating in a European group. What does your transfer to the Cypriot champions mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

First of all, I\u2019m glad to meet you. I am very happy about this step in my career. I believe that Apollon is an ideal move for me and I understood from the first moment that both sides will help each other. The club wants to help me, and I, for my part, want to help Apollon achieve the club\u2019s goals.<\/p>\n

Why is Apollon considered the ideal move for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because this is a team that stars in domestic competitions and has been competing continuously in Europe over the past ten years. This is a huge motivation for me and it is a great opportunity for me to compete in a European game.<\/p>\n

Were there other options instead of Apollon?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There were certainly other proposals, but the approach and what I have been told by Apollon convinced me to come here.<\/p>\n

You’ve already met your teammates. How did they welcome you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

They embraced me from the first moment with great warmth. We met, we talked and they put me in the atmosphere of the team from the beginning. I have already bonded a little more with Haris Mavrias and I am very optimistic about the future.<\/p>\n

What did you say with Mr. Zorninger?<\/strong><\/p>\n

He explained a bit about the team’s plan, he described his thoughts about the team and me and I think we will have a very good cooperation.<\/p>\n

What did you know about Apollon before your transfer here?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The truth is that I knew about Apollon and followed the Cypriot championship and the progress of the team because there was interest in me last year as well, but it was not completed. I know that the team is entering a new stadium this year and that the Chairman wants to develop the club even more. It has excellent facilities as suits any large club.<\/p>\n

What numbers would you be happy with at the end of the season? Appearances, goals, assists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Surely the most important thing is how the team will do and that its goals will be achieved. This counts for more than individual stats. I would definitely like to score as many goals as I can.<\/p>\n

What kind of football player are you, what are your main attributes?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My preferred and main position is behind the striker, creating the play and I like to score a lot. My technique, my first touch and finishing.<\/p>\n

In what positions can we see you this year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In all positions from the midfield and in front. Either as number “eight”, or \u201cten\u201d but also at the frontline of the attack.<\/p>\n

What number did you choose and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

70 because it is my father’s birth date.<\/p>\n

What can the fans expect from Dimitris?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I will be 100% professional, work as hard as I can and help the team as much as they need me. Whether I play for one minute or 90, I will give everything on the field to achieve the goals of the team.<\/p>\n
