Apollon FC announces the agreement in principle with Hammarby for the loan transfer of the football player Tesfaldet Tekie (04\/06\/1997) for the 2023-24 season, with an option to buy in the summer of 2024.<\/p>\n
The footballer was born in June 1997 in Eritrea and at the age of nine he emigrated to Sweden.<\/p>\n
The central midfielder started his career in the Swedish Gunnilse youth team with whom he made six appearances and scored one goal at the age of 16.<\/p>\n
In 2013 the player was transferred to Norrk\u00f6ping from which he left on loan to Sylvia with whom in two years he played in 20 matches scoring four goals.<\/p>\n
In 2015 he returned to Norrk\u00f6ping with whom he made 32 appearances until January 2017 when he was transferred to the Belgian club Gent without making any appearances as after six months he went on loan to \u00d6stersund where he played in 37 matches scoring three goals.<\/p>\n
In the 2019-2022 three-year period the player moved to the Netherlands playing for Fortuna Sittard with whom he made 86 appearances and scored two goals. In the first half of the 2022-2023 season he played for Go Ahead Eagles, making 10 appearances and in February 2023 he returned to Sweden for Hammarby with whom he played 21 matches and scored three goals.<\/p>\n
The player will go through the medical and then the deal will be finalised.<\/p>\n
