Congratulations on renewing your contract with Apollon. What does this new agreement mean to you personally?<\/strong>
\nThank you very much. I\u2019m really happy to continue at Apollon. These first six months have been a completely new experience for me, as it was the first time I played outside of Germany. I came here determined to give my best and help the team \u2014 and I believe I\u2019ve done that.<\/p>\nI\u2019m pleased with how things have developed and with the fact that the club wants to continue working with me. Now we need a break to rest, and from next season our goal is clear: to return to European competitions.<\/p>\n

This renewal shows that the club believes in you. Do you feel that trust in your daily routine?<\/strong>
\nAbsolutely. From the very first day I felt that trust. I\u2019ve always worked hard \u2014 not just on the pitch but also in the gym, because to be ready, you need both physical and mental strength. It\u2019s a demanding job. It\u2019s not just about training hours \u2014 it\u2019s a daily commitment.<\/p>\nWhen the opportunity came in December to play, I was ready. The club believed in me and I really appreciate it. I feel that both the club and I are happy with how things are going, and we can keep moving forward strongly.<\/p>\n
How was your first half-season with the team?<\/strong>
\nI joined at a very difficult time for Apollon, in November. Two weeks later we had an interim coach, and ten days after that, there was another change. It was a rough period overall. But then we had the chance to prepare under the new coach, we improved as a team, got good results, and made it into the top six. The most important matches were the Cup games.<\/p>\nBut for me personally, it was a good and beautiful experience \u2014 in a wonderful country, at a European club. From day one, I had a good feeling. Sometimes you have that feeling, sometimes you don\u2019t. Here, I had it. Everyone at the club was friendly, polite, and helped me.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your message to the fans of Apollon?<\/strong>
\nI\u2019m happy to be part of this team. Thank you all for your support \u2014 even during the tough times. Now we need the summer break to recharge and come back stronger next season. But we need you with us. Only together is it possible. We have a lot of fans, and in Germany we often say “the 12th man”.
