\nIt means a lot. I\u2019ve been in Limassol for six years, so I know exactly what it means to play for Apollon. It\u2019s a big club for this city. I played for years with a rival team, and every match against Apollon always felt special. I\u2019m really happy to be here now, and I can\u2019t wait for the new season to begin.<\/p>\n
\nAbsolutely. I know the league, I know most of the players, and I\u2019ve played in almost every stadium. I\u2019ve also won the championship here, so I\u2019m bringing that experience with me. I believe that will really help me settle in quickly with the team.<\/p>\n
\nIt was a beautiful journey. I had a lot of good moments, but also tough ones. I learned a lot as a player \u2014 with two different coaches and great teammates who helped me develop. As a person, it made me grow up. It was the first time I lived alone, had to look after myself, take responsibility. Over those six years, I matured a lot<\/p>\n
\nYes, it\u2019s true! I didn\u2019t have a club at the time. I had just left Aberdeen and posted a highlight video of myself on LinkedIn. Someone from Aris saw it and messaged me to ask if I\u2019d like to come to Cyprus for trials.<\/p>\n
\nIt was a shock. I was used to facilities like those at Leicester and Aberdeen. When I first arrived at Aris, the club’s image was very different back then. The training ground and facilities seemed strange to me at first. But I adapted quickly. I had great teammates, especially Cypriots, and they really welcomed me. From there, I fell in love with life in Cyprus.<\/p>\n
\nFrom what I know, I should get it within a year \u2014 maybe even sooner.<\/p>\n
\nYes, I think Apollon was the first. There were other offers as well, but once I heard that Apollon was interested, I wasn\u2019t really thinking about anything else. With all due respect to other teams, I now feel like I\u2019m\u2026 also from Limassol. As soon as I heard the news, I told my agent we need to take this seriously. I\u2019m very happy to be here now.<\/p>\n
\nIt\u2019s quite a story. I had never worked with coach Sofronis before, but every time we spoke, I could tell he appreciated me. I met him once at a stadium, when I wasn\u2019t in the squad. He was coaching the national team back then. We had a nice conversation. From that moment, I kept in mind that he\u2019s a coach I\u2019d like to work with one day. When I found out he wanted me, I was excited.<\/p>\n
\nI feel most comfortable in midfield, as a box-to-box player, because I enjoy defending and scoring. But I can play wherever I\u2019m needed \u2014 right or left back, wherever the coach wants. Just not as a goalkeeper! I\u2019ll give everything, no matter where I\u2019m asked to play.<\/p>\n
\nFirst of all, strong performances. I\u2019m a positive guy, full of energy. I love working hard, especially in training. Off the pitch, I\u2019m very social \u2014 I love coffee and jokes. On the pitch, I give everything. I want the fans to see a player who fights with passion and only wants to win. I may not always be the best on the field, but I\u2019ll always be the one who gives everything.<\/p>\n
\nI\u2019m very excited to be here. I promise that every time I step on the pitch, I\u2019ll give 200% of myself. I may not always be perfect, but I\u2019ll always give my all. I hope we have a great season, and my biggest goal is for us to win a trophy.<\/p>\n
