We continued our winning run, defeating Omonia Aradippou 1–0 at the Alphamega Stadium on Matchday 7 of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan, securing our second consecutive victory after last week’s win over Akritas.

We controlled possession and dictated the pace for most of the first half, creating several dangerous opportunities. In the 29th minute, Rodríguez was unlucky as his powerful strike hit the crossbar, while Castel also went close with a header shortly after. The visitors looked to respond, but our defense stayed solid, with Kvida making a crucial intervention just before the break.

In the second half, we kept pressing for the opener and finally found it in the 79th minute, when Gaspar was brought down inside the box. Pedro Marques stepped up and converted from the penalty spot, scoring his first goal of the season to give us the lead.

We managed the final stages with composure and claimed a hard-fought but deserved victory, keeping a clean sheet for the second consecutive home match and moving up to 12 points in the league table.
