Connor Goldson joins Apollon

Apollon Football (Public) Ltd is pleased to announce the signing of Connor Goldson on a contract until May 2028.

The English central defender was born on 18 December 1992 and brings with him vast experience from the English, Scottish and Cypriot leagues, as well as extensive involvement in European competitions.

Goldson began his professional career with Shrewsbury Town before going on to play for Brighton & Hove Albion, Rangers and Aris Limassol.

During his time at Rangers, he made more than 300 appearances in all competitions, winning the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup, while also being part of the team that reached the UEFA Europa League final in 2022.

Over the past two seasons, he represented Aris Limassol, making a total of 62 appearances and scoring three goals in all competitions, while standing out for his quality, experience and leadership at the heart of the defence. In the 2024-2025 season, he was named in the Cyprus League Team of the Season.

Goldson also boasts significant European experience, having made more than 80 appearances in UEFA club competitions.
