A Day of Smiles at “Apollon Columbia” with Children of the Red Cross

On Wednesday, October 15th, the “Apollon Columbia” training center in Kolossi hosted children and friends of the Red Cross volunteers (Limassol Branch). As part of the event, which falls under Apollon Limassol’s corporate social responsibility activities, the children had the opportunity to meet the players and coach of the team, tour the training center’s facilities, and receive commemorative gifts.

The team’s mascot, Apollonios, warmly welcomed the children upon their arrival, spreading smiles all around. The players took time to engage with the children, signed autographs, and took photos, offering them a memorable experience.

Apollon’s coach, Mr. Adrian Gula, greeted the children and spoke to them about the importance of hard work, dedication, and teamwork in sports. The children were then given a tour of the facilities where the players train, getting an up-close look at how the team prepares for each match and gaining insight into the world of football.

By the end of the day, the children left with wonderful memories and special experiences, along with some commemorative gifts.

This event once again demonstrated Apollon’s commitment to supporting local communities and its dedication to social responsibility.
