Agreement in principle with Mikael Krmencik

Apollon FC announces the agreement in principle with footballer Mikael Krmencik.

Mikael was born in March of 1993 and he plays as a center forward.

The 30-year-old footballer started his career in the academy of SK Kraslice and before reaching adulthood he moved to FK Banik Sokolov 1948. He was subsequently transferred to Viktoria Plzen and during his first few years in Plzen, he played on loan for FK Caslav, FC Sellier & Bellot Vlasim, FC Banik Ostrava and FK Dukla Praha.

In January 2020 he was transferred to Belgian champions Club Brugge winning another league title and, in the winter of 2021, he was loaned to PAOK and Slavia Praha.

In the past season the Czech international played in the Indonesian league for Persija Jakarta.

In total, he has won six championships and one Cup in his career. He has been an international since 2016, having made 35 appearances and scored nine goals for the Czech Republic national team, with his last appearance coming in November 2021.

The player is expected to arrive in Cyprus in the upcoming days in order to complete his medicals which will confirm the deal.
