Agreement in principle with Slovan Bratislava for Ezekiel Henty
Apollon FC announces the agreement in principle with Slovan Bratislava for the loan transfer of the football player Ezekiel Henty (13/05/1993) for the 2022-23 season, with an option to buy in the summer of 2023.
The 29-year-old was born in May 1993 in Nigeria and plays as a forward. Ezekiel Henty arrived in Europe in 2012 for AC Milan where he played in the primavera team in the 2012-2013 season scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances.
For the next three and a half years the footballer played on loan at Spezia, Perugia, Gorica and Olimpia Ljubljana. The Slovenian side activated the buyout clause from AC Milan in the summer of 2015. In total he scored 19 goals in 57 appearances.
In February 2016, Lokomotiv Moscow spent the sum of €5,500,000 to acquire him from Olimpija Ljubljana.
The following January the footballer played for UAE side Baniyas on loan where he scored five goals in 12 appearances. In the summer of 2017, he was transferred to Hungarian side Videoton where he played in 20 games scoring five goals while in the second half of the season, he went on loan to Puskas Academy where he scored six goals in 17 appearances.
The Nigerian striker then played on loan at Osijek where he scored five goals in 22 appearances. The footballer returned to Puskas where in 13 appearances he scored another seven goals.
In January 2020, he was transferred to Slovan Bratislava, where he scored 21 goals in 62 appearances. In January 2022, the footballer went on loan to Al Hazem where he played in nine games.
Ezekiel Henty has won four championships (two Slovakian, one Slovenian and one Hungarian) and three Cups (two Slovakian and one Russian).
The player is expected to complete his medicals which will confirm the deal.
