Agreement with Ascoli for Tasos Avlonitis

Apollon FC announces the agreement with Ascoli for the transfer of the football player Tasos Avlonitis and the agreement with the football player until May 2023.

Tasos was born in January 1990 in Greece and he plays as a center back.

The 32-year-old started his football career from Egaleo in 2007-2008, making 20 appearances and scored one goal.

During the season 2008-2009, he played on loan at Ilisikos, completing 23 appearances.

In the 2011-2012 period, he played for first time in Greece Superleague on behalf of Panionios and he stayed there until 2013-2014 making 65 in total appearances.

In the 2014-2015 period he transferred to Olympiakos Peireos where he completed 25 caps and he scored two goals.

After Olympiakos he played for Sturm Graz, Hearts, Panathinaikos until 2020-2021 when he transferred for Ascoli FC where he completed 31 appearances.

He was also a former Greece under-19 and Greece under-21 international.

The player is expected to arrive in Cyprus in the upcoming days in order to complete his medicals which will confirm the deal.
