Agreement with Joel Asoro

Apollon Football (Public) Ltd is pleased to announce an agreement with FC Metz for the permanent transfer of Joel Asoro. The Swedish international winger has signed a contract with the club until May 2028.

Born in Stockholm in April 1999, Asoro developed through the youth academies of IFK Haninge, Brommapojkarna and Sunderland.

During his professional career, he has represented Sunderland, Swansea City, Groningen, Genoa, Djurgårdens IF and Metz, making more than 200 appearances across the top divisions of England, the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden and France.

At international level, Asoro has earned two caps for the Sweden national team, scoring one goal.
