Championship award ceremony (photos)

Apollon’s family celebrated winning the title for the 2021-22 season with a fantastic party.

Apollon finished the football season with 58 points, 16 victories, 10 draws, and 6 defeats in a very challenging and contested competition. He had the greatest offensive in the Championship, scoring 50 goals while conceding 33.

Our club mathematically won the championship on 15/05, but the award was made by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis, on Sunday (22/05).

The award ceremony was attended by KOP President Mr. George Koumas, KOP General Secretary Mr. Anthoulis Mylonas, and CYTA Vice President Mr. Haris Millas.

Throughout the ceremony, various sections of our club were recognised for their achievements during the previous season.

Representatives from the Apollon Ladies in women’s soccer, the Apollon Property Gallery in women’s volleyball, and the Apollon in wheelchair basketball came on stage with the trophies they earned this year, understanding the world’s apotheosis.

The ceremony concluded with an artistic show including Greek singer Eleni Foureira, who enthuzed the almost 12000 fans of our squad who gathered to Tsirio.

A hearty thank you to our sponsored friends, who once again shown that they are more than simply partners, as their support and gratitude helped our football team win the title this year.

We would be remiss if we did not appreciate the supporters for their support of our squad during the season.
