Christos Papadopoulos: “I’m ready for anything”

At 17, Christos Papadopoulos is taking his first steps into professional football, signing his first professional contract. The young left-back says he is ready for the challenges ahead and determined to make the most of this opportunity.

“I feel very satisfied. It’s every young footballer’s dream. I’m ready for anything,” he says, expressing his feelings with honesty and confidence as he embarks on this new chapter.

For him, the most decisive factor in earning his place is daily commitment. “The most important thing to succeed is hard work—every day, every moment. I need to be serious, focused on my goal, and concentrated. Signing the contract is just the beginning. From now on, I have to act like a professional every day.”

Although signing his first professional contract is a milestone, Christos approaches this moment with maturity and a grounded attitude. “It’s a start. It doesn’t mean anything by itself. Now I have to prove my worth. I believe my performances this season will show what the future holds.”
