First home game
Our team will hold its first home match today, Thursday (18/7, 20:00) for the 2019-2020 season.
The match will take place in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League against Zalgiris Kaunos in GSP.
In the first match in Mariebole, Apollon prevailed 0-2 with goals from Ioannis Pittas and Emilio Zelaya.
Mr. Sofronis Augustis in the press conference pointed out that the footballers must show the same seriousness that they had in the first match to get the desired result.
On the players’ side, Joao Pedro stated that they will be ready and focused so that our team can celebrate the qualification to the next phase with a second victory and without conceding a goal.
