Three decades, countless training sessions, and a quiet influence that has left a lasting legacy in the history of Apollon.

Giorgos Nicolaou is not just the team’s goalkeeping coach – he is the figure behind the stability, confidence, and evolution of iconic Apollon keepers like Bruno Vale, Aleš Chvalovský, Aleksandar Jovanović, and now Peter Leeuwenburgh and Philipp Kühn.

Having joined the club’s technical staff in 1996, Nicolaou took on the role of goalkeeping coach right after concluding his own playing career.
