Ivan Ljubic joins Apollon FC

Apollon Football (Public) Ltd is pleased to announce the signing of Ivan Ljubić, who has put pen to paper on a contract until May 2027.

The 28-year-old midfielder (born on July 7, 1996) arrives with 166 appearances and 13 goals in the Austrian Bundesliga, having played for TSV Hartberg, SK Sturm Graz, and LASK Linz.

He began his career at the Austria Wien academy before featuring for SV Horn, Wiener Neustadt, and LASK II, eventually establishing himself as a consistent performer in Austria’s top division. In 2023, he won the Austrian Cup (ÖFB Cup) with Sturm Graz before moving to LASK, where he spent the last two seasons.

During the 2024–2025 season, he made 24 official appearances and scored 1 goal in the Austrian Bundesliga, Austrian Cup, and the UEFA Europa League, wearing the black-and-white shirt of LASK Linz.
