Match Report | APOEL-APOLLON (0-0/CUP)

Our team celebrated qualification to the Coca-Cola Cup final after overcoming APOEL at the GSP Stadium, following a goalless 0-0 draw in the second leg, combined with our 4-2 victory in the first match.

The home side started aggressively and tried to put us under pressure in the opening minutes, but we managed the game well and maintained control. The most important moment of the first half came in the 21st minute, when Kuhn made an excellent save from close range to keep our goal intact. We gradually found our balance, limited the opposition’s attacking efforts, and came close to scoring just before halftime through Malekkidis.

In the second half, we continued with a disciplined tactical approach, closing down spaces and keeping APOEL away from clear scoring opportunities, while we threatened through Escriche in the 68th minute. Our team successfully contained the opposition until the final whistle, preserving the 0-0 draw and securing a deserved place in the Cup final, where we will face Pafos FC.
