Match Report | APOLLON – AEK (1-2)

The first official match of our team for the 2024-2025 season against AEK was dramatic.

Our team suffered a defeat despite taking a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal by Pedro Marques. Key moments in the match were Athanasiadis’ penalty save from Sagal and D’Almeida’s red card shortly before halftime.

In the second half, the visitors capitalized on the numerical advantage and turned the score around to 1-2 with goals from Ekpolo and Gama.

Our next match is scheduled for next Saturday against Anorthosis at “Antonis Papadopoulos.”
