Match Report | APOLLON-APOEL (2-2)

We drew 2-2 with APOEL in Matchday 4 of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan at the “ALPHAMEGA” Stadium, remaining unbeaten in the league.

We made a strong start and opened the scoring in the 6th minute through Garry Rodrigues, following an excellent combination between Gaetan Weissbeck and Brandon Thomas. APOEL equalised through Stafilidis in the 13th minute, but we regained the lead in the 43rd minute through an own goal by Laifis following an effort from Dani Escriche.

APOEL levelled the score in the second half through Pedroso from the penalty spot in the 62nd minute. We pushed for a third goal in the closing stages, but the score remained 2-2 until the final whistle.

There will now be an international break. Our next official fixture is on October 10 at 18:00, when we face Krasava ENY at Ammochostos Stadium.
