Match Report | APOLLON – ENP (3-1)

Our team triumphed over Enosis Neon Paralimniou with a 3-1 victory in a dramatic match.

The first half ended 0-0, with few chances created by either side.

In the second half, our team took the lead through an own goal by Christofi, following a beautiful combination between Spoljaric and Buagard. Spoljaric’s cross into the box led Christofi to accidentally send the ball into his own net while trying to clear it.

Enosis equalized in the 76th minute with a goal by Gottlieb, making it 1-1. However, our team found the breakthrough in injury time. At 90+5 minutes, we were awarded a penalty after Malekkidis was fouled. Dorregaray calmly converted to make it 2-1. The final 3-1 score came in the 100th minute, with a powerful diagonal shot by Weissbeck.

Before the match, a short ceremony was held in honor of Pambos Lymbourides, featuring a video tribute to his memory.
