Matchday 2 of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan saw us suffer a 3-0 defeat to Freedom 24 Krasava ENY at the “ALPHAMEGA” Stadium.

The visitors took the lead in the 10th minute through a long-range strike by Teixeira and doubled their advantage in the 64th minute with Christodoulou. Our big chance came in the 84th minute, when Gaëtan Weissbeck had the opportunity from the penalty spot, but his effort went over the crossbar. Deep into stoppage time (90+7’), Teixeira sealed the final 3-0 on the counterattack.

Despite our efforts, we couldn’t find the goal that would bring us back into the game. Notably, Morgan Brown and Andreas Shikkis made their official debuts for Apollon.
