Match Report | APOLLON-OMONOIA (3-1)

With an impressive comeback, our team defeated Omonia 3-1 at Alphamega Stadium, making a strong statement ahead of the Cyprus Cup semifinals.

Despite conceding an early goal (7’), our players responded emphatically, dominating the second half and turning the game around in just two minutes.

Omonia took the lead in the 7th minute, when after a free-kick by Evandro, De Marco attempted to clear the ball but sent it into his own net. The visitors scored again in the 18th minute through Stepinski, but the goal was correctly ruled offside.

The final 3-1 was sealed by Vouros in the 86th minute, heading the ball home after a free-kick by Buagard, taking advantage of Ouzoho’s poor clearance.
