Match Report | ARIS-APOLLON (3-0)

We were unable to continue our positive run, suffering a 3-0 defeat against Aris at the Alphamega Stadium in the 4th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan playoffs.

The match started with Aris taking control early and opening the scoring in the 3rd minute through Effaghe. The hosts maintained their pressure and doubled their lead in the 19th minute with a penalty converted by Montnor. We tried to respond, but we were unable to reduce the deficit, while in the 44th minute Aris scored a third goal once again through Effaghe to set the halftime score. In the second half we attempted to improve our rhythm, but Aris remained in control, created further chances and held on to the 3-0 lead until the final whistle.

Our next match is on Wednesday, April 22 against APOEL at the Alphamega Stadium in the first leg of the Cup semi-finals.
