Match Report | KARMIOTISSA – APOLLON (2-0)

Our team was defeated 2-0 by Karmiotissa in the 6th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan, held at the “Ammochostos-Return” stadium.

The home team opened the scoring in the 33rd minute in a rather eventful manner. Malone’s shot deflected off Célestine, bounced off Gioussis, and eventually hit the post and into Leeuwenburgh’s net to make it 1-0.

In the second half, Karmiotissa doubled their lead in the 54th minute when Pozo scored with a shot from inside the box, sealing the final score at 2-0.

Despite our efforts to create chances, we couldn’t break through and score.
