Match Report | PAFOS – APOLLON (0-1)

Our first victory in the Cyprus League by Stoiximan! On Matchday 3, we defeated Pafos FC 1-0 at the “Stelios Kyriakides” Stadium, securing our first three points of the 2025-26 season.

The first half was balanced, with few clear chances for either side. Just after the restart (47’), the hosts were reduced to ten men following the dismissal of Lukassen, and in the 56th minute we took advantage. After a sequence of efforts, Gaëtan Weissbeck found the back of the net with a powerful strike inside the box to make it 0-1.

Late in the match, we were also reduced to ten men after Weissbeck was sent off (86’), and in stoppage time (90+10’) Danilo Spoljaric also saw red, leaving us with nine players. Despite this, we stood firm defensively, kept our lead intact and celebrated a crucial away win.
