The draw for the Cyta 2019-2020 Championship will take place on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at The Landmark Nicosia Hotel (formerly Hilton) and will begin at 12:00 noon.
The Cyta Championship 2019-2020 will be held with the participation of the following twelve teams:
AEK Larnaca, AEL Limassol, Anorthosis Famagusta, APOEL Nicosia, Apollon Limassol, Doxa Katokopias, Ethnikos Achnas, EN Paralimniou, Nea Salamina Famagusta, Olympiakos Nicosia, Omonia Nicosia and Paphos F.C ..
The Championship will start on the weekend of August 24-25, 2019 and will end on the weekend of May 16-17, 2020.
There will be two rounds of the eleven games and there will be ten games in the second phase, a total of 32 games. With the completion of the 22 games (First Phase), the twelve teams will be divided into two groups of six teams depending on their scoring position and transferring with them in the second phase the points they got in the first phase.
With the completion of the 2nd phase, the last two teams of the 2nd group will be relegated to the 2nd Division.
The first phase will end on 22-23 February 2020 and the first match of the second phase will take place on the weekend of February 29 – March 1, 2020.
The match for the Super Cup between the Champion team of APOEL and the Cup winner of AEL will take place on 27 or 28 or 29 September 2020.
The Coca – Cola 2019 – 2020 Cup final will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
