Agreement reached with Olympiakos Nicosia for Leonidas Konomis

Apollon Football (Public) Ltd announces that an agreement has been reached with Olympiakos Nicosia for the transfer of Leonidas Konomis until May 2028, with an option to extend the cooperation for an additional season.

Born in June 2001, the Cypriot footballer began his journey through the academies of Anorthosis Famagusta and Omonia Nicosia before making his first-team breakthrough with Nea Salamina.

He later enjoyed his first full season at THOI Lakatamias and subsequently played for Omonia 29M and PAEEK.

During the last two seasons, he represented Olympiakos Nicosia, making a total of 57 appearances and scoring seven goals.

Primarily a midfielder, the 24-year-old is also capable of operating as a centre-back.
