Match Report | AEK-APOLLON (1-0)

For the 7th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan play-offs, we faced AEK FC at the AEK Arena and suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat.

We started the match in an organised manner and created the first chance in the 8th minute through a long-range effort by Vrikkis, but AEK took the lead in the 11th minute after a move from the right side, with Bajic finishing from inside the area.

Until halftime, we tried to respond through efforts by Markovic and Malekkidis, while Kuhn kept us in the game with important saves. In the second half, we increased our pressure and created opportunities mainly through Escriche, Vrikkis and Thomas, but we were unable to find the equaliser.

AEK finished the match with ten players after Ekpolo was sent off in the 84th minute.
