Match Report | APOEL – APOLLON (2-0)

We were unable to extend our winning run, as we suffered a 2-0 defeat against APOEL at GSP Stadium, on Matchday 5 of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.

The first half ended goalless, with our best chance falling to Brandon Thomas, whose effort was denied by Pereira.

In the second half, APOEL struck twice within five minutes: Tomas opened the scoring in the 73rd minute, before Dalcio doubled the lead in the 78th, sealing the final result.

Notably, Marcelino Carreraso made his official debut in Apollon colours.
