Match Report | ARIS-APOLLON (2-2)

We played out a 2-2 draw against Aris in the first Limassol derby of the season at ALPHAMEGA Stadium, on the opening matchday of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. Despite falling behind twice, we responded on both occasions to earn a point.

Aris took the lead in the 12th minute through Matusik, but we responded in the 39th minute when Garry Rodrigues followed up to level the score. The hosts regained the lead in the 66th minute through Efaghe from the penalty spot, but our reaction was immediate, with Aggelos Andreou finishing from inside the box two minutes later to make it 2-2. We pushed for a winning goal in the closing stages, but the score remained unchanged.
