Match Report | ETHNIKOS ACHNAS – APOLLON (FRIENDLY)

Apollon played its first pre-season friendly on Friday evening against Ethnikos at the Dasaki Stadium in Achna, as part of the team’s summer preparations.

Head coach Sofronis Avgousti made wide use of his squad, fielding two different line-ups in each half and focusing on testing players, building early match rhythm and working on tactical setups.

Ntountou opened the scoring with a low finish inside the area (5’), while Breno equalised for Ethnikos shortly after the half-hour mark. The final score was shaped in the 57th minute when Brown’s powerful strike from distance deflected off a defender and ended up in the net.

All available players saw action, including young Ioannis Polyviou who featured in the final minutes.
