FranceMathieu Peybernes joined the club in summer of 2022. He plays as a central defender. The majority of his career was spent in the French league making over 150 appearances in Ligue 1 playing for Sochaux, Bastia and Lorient.
He completed a 108 appearances in the Spanish LaLiga2, competing mainly in Malaga, Lugo, Sporting Gijon and Real Zaragoza, while he also had a short spell in Almeria.
The centre-back also played for Turkey’s Göztepe and Belgium’s Eupen.
