Match Report | APOEL – APOLLON (2-3)

We earned an important away victory with a 3-2 win against APOEL at the GSP Stadium in the 3rd matchday of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan playoffs, in a thrilling encounter with constant momentum shifts.

We started the match well and gradually balanced the game after an early spell of pressure from the hosts, although clear chances were limited. In the 35th minute, we took the lead when Assuncao delivered a cross and Brandon Thomas set the ball for Marques, who finished on the move to make it 0-1, which was also the halftime score. APOEL equalized in the 56th minute, but we responded quickly and regained the lead in the 64th minute through Kvida after an assist from Brandon Thomas. The hosts made it 2-2 in the 84th minute, however we showed great character and in the 88th minute Marques, following a pass from Malekkides, scored the winning goal to seal the 2-3 result.
